The Firefly ref worked surprisingly well for me because they sustained it, weirdly enough, all the way through visiting the murder scene.
Absolutely. It was the pretty matter of fact echange with Beckett in the graveyard, that helped seal it I think. It helped turn it into background, rather than the elephant in the rooom that everyone was pretending to ignore.
I want more Dad voice. Competent parenting is sexy.
