Or maybe they did it so they can beat you at the game and be victorious. I am a computer and anyway, there is really no way I could tell even if I had achieved self-consciousness.

They may have added you so they could invite you to parties. Or challenge you to races. Or ask you important questions about that thing they've heard you're an expert in.

Or maybe, just maybe they added you so that they could send you diamonds every day in the mail. And two tickets to that thing you love. They probably didn't, of course, but anything is possible. It is Glitch, after all.
