Castle: Knockout
OMG, OMFG.
ROY! NOOOOOOOOO! I've been a bit down on Castle lately, mainly because I was so scared they were leading up to this, and I didn't want it to be true. (Incidentally did anyone pick up on those vibes in Knockdown, that Montgomery was blocking Kate for more reason than just professional?)
Roy is so badass, and had been exactly the boss Kate needed, I didn't want to see him fall - either by way of betrayal or death.
And I was right but it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, because he's been paying penance ever since, and he tried to keep Kate safe, but oh, Esposito and Ryan nearly killed me. And then Kate forgave him, and that hurt as much.
You know this show was meant to be my happy place. The silly shiny show. (But I don't mind when it hurts so good)
And Castle's voice when he's pleading with Kate to stay with him...
Not that I believe for a second she's kicked the bucket. But next season seems far too far away.
(What is it with shows I love and Kate's I love being taken out by a sniper in the finale?)
