Doctor Who: The Day of The Moon
Typed from notes made whilst I watched the show, but not edited or made any more coherent.
PS I am very squeeful about this episode and I would prefer no squee-harshing in the comments.
The Doctor's the alien at Area 51, whilst the inspiration for the greys are everywhere.
I love River's dress, and I hope someone is going to write the swanky party she conned her way into before heading to the building site.
"There's always a way out." Oh River you fucking fantastic BAMF.
"Looks aren't everything" And then he shots Rory.
THE DOCTOR KISSED THE TOP OF RORY'S HEAD. OT3 OF MY HEART.
She jumped off the top of the top of the building.
"She does that"
And Neil Armstrongs foot's going to save the world.
And Amy's not pregnant anymore.
ALIEN IN THE TARDIS! But it's a hologram.
Amy looks awesome. Both hair and outfit.
And here's a creepy orphanage. With a creepy man in charge. And no children in evidence. But lots of writing on the walls. And on the creepy guy.
And the aliens look like bats. (How much time has passed for Amy and Canton in the orphanage?)
I sent him a message.
River and Rory! Looking awesome. (America salutes you!)
The child must be cared for. (What do the silents want with the girl? Who is she? Is she Amy & Rory's daughter?
And there's Amy with a baby.
And it's the small girl in white nightdress motif.
Is anyone having flashbacks to the recorder ghosts of Silence in the Library?
Oh Rory.
He does remember. Two thousand years. (So he is really, to all intents and purposes older than the Doctor. And whilst Jack probably has a hundred years on him, I don't think the two thousand years spend in a box, dying and reviving over and over again count.)
And the Doctor and River are so, so flirty.
And Rory needs to get his stupid face out of there. <3
Oh River. You rule at Archaeology.
(Silence will fall.)
And the Doctor's first time is River last. (Or so she thinks. I refuse to believe that their meeting through time are so orderly.) And her face. D: (But the Doctor is adorkably kerfuffled)
And Amy is pregnant and not pregnant, (And I just have Yay! a bit that they didn't forget that Rory is a nurse.) and then there is a rather composed little girl regenerating and WTF?.
Fanfiction where the little girl is Amy and Rory's TARDIS flavoured daughter who turns into River in 3... 2... 1... (Bonus points if due to timey-wimey shenanigans Amy or Rory tell the Doctor off for sleeping withtheir little girl)
I love that the Silents ship is the ship from the Lodger, and so many loose threads have been pulled together but not tied down. Eagerly awaiting the next episodes. (Amy with a cutlass. Being all piratey! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.)

calapine's meta I HEAR THE SOUND OF EMPIRES TOPPLING. She says it so much better than I ever could.
