He started off doing it normally, speak a bit in English, then repeat in welsh. But then spoke in just welsh for the first four candidates, and then just in english for the last two. I think everyone was waiting for him to go back and read the results in english when he then went on to call it for Jane Dodds in english. It was all a bit confused.
I'm going to blame it in the late night and nerves from the unusual scrutiny (normally as a constituency we're completely ignored on election nights.
