1. Are you an Essential Worker?

Nope, unemployed due to depression, but husband works for essential business (telecoms), but has always worked from home.

2. How many drinks have you had since the quarantine has started?

I am on 7 week of vestibular neuronitis (labyrinthitis without the hearing loss) so dizzy and vaguely sick is a state of being for me at the moment. Who needs alcohol?

3. If you have kids... Are they driving you nuts?

They're being pretty awesome at the moment. Owen would rather be at uni, but on whole having teenagers is delight.

4. What new hobby have you taken up during this?

Um, I've just started a sourdough starter, but apart from that the VN is making me not want to do anything more than read (in a very large font).

5. How many grocery runs have you done?

None, I can't drive at the moment, and Doug hates the local supermarket car parks, but we already have a weekly veggie and dried goods delivery from our local store, (and a daily milk delivery) and our local butchers is delivering too, so so far we're getting away with it.

6. What are you spending your stimulus check on?

Not in the US

7. Do you have any special occasions that you will miss during this quarantine?

A few family gatherings, but nothing major. Thank god my mum's Eightieth was in December. Doug has won a company award, the prize of which is normally a posh trip abroad for a weekend with the CEO & other top execs, so that has been postponed, but I'm fine with that not happening for a while. (see CEO and other top execs).

8. Are you keeping your housework done?

When I can whip crack the teenagers into doing it. Again they're being pretty good, especially given I can't stand for too long.

9. What movie have you watched during this quarantine?

No movies, but me, Hannah & Becka are doing a Leverage watch. (In the last year we've watched Castle, Good Omens, Lucifer & B99. Everybody should watch these shows with 13 year old girls, it is the most fun ever)

10. What are you streaming with?

Netflix, Prime and BBC iPlayer mostly.

11. 9 months from now is there any chance of you having a baby?

I have four teenagers. No way in hell.

12. What's your go-to quarantine meal?

Something with pasta. Mainly because of Owen's food issues, it's easy enough to do him plain pasta on the side

13. Is this whole situation making you paranoid?

I don't think so. I think because I'd been ill for a few weeks before the lockdown, it's not hit me as much and it's all passing in a bit of a blur. (That'll be the spinny head)

14. Has your internet gone out on you during this time?

No thank fuck because four teenagers.

15. What month do you predict this all ends?

For a particular country or worldwide? Worldwide it's going to go on until at least the autumn I think. UK wise they're going to try and re-open too soon, and we'll be even more screwed than we are now.

16. First thing you're gonna do when you get off quarantine?

Drive up into the mountains, probably to the Hay Bluff.

17. Where do you wish you were right now?

On the Hay Bluff. (Even if I could stand up, the nation park is closed)

18. What free-from-quarantine activity are you missing the most?

Walks in the national park.

19. Have you run out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer?

No.

20. Do you have enough food to last a month?

Probably not the month, I have four rapacious teenagers, and we don't have that much storage space, but as I said above, we're lucky in our local shops, (the butchers has their own abattoir next door, and their stock comes from the local farmers and is currently holding up well) but the variety of what we're eating has dropped.

I meant it about watching shows with teenagers. People who rag on teenage girls have no idea what they're missing out on. (Also what should we watch once we've finished Leverage?)

Oh no on the vertigo! I have chronic vertigo (though nowhere near as bad as it used to be) and that horrible dizziness is so exhausting! I'm glad you thought to create some teenagers to help you out!

My sympathies on the chronic vertigo, I've only had this for 7 weeks and I am so over it.

We really enjoyed the first season of Star Trek Discovery, but nobody here has been up to watching much in the way of plot for a while.

VN sounds terrible and I hope you heal up completely and soon.

So I tried watching Discovery when if first came out out but my brain had a weird reaction to the Klingon make-up in that it was a visceral disgust that made it impossible to watch. The only other time it reacted like that was when we saw Matilda the musical and I reacted the same to Miss Truchball/ Mr Wormwood, and had to actively watch a part of the stage they weren't on or close my eyes.

My brain is weird.

(VN sucks bug time, but the Doctor gave me a time frame of anything from 6 weeks to 6 months so I am praying for the shorter time)
