Colby and David had a bet on with Nikki (Megan's replacement in season five), whereby, the three of them have to turn up to Dinner on Friday, and the one who doesn't bring a date has to pay. Nikki's date storms out when it turn's out she once arrested his friend when she was a LA beat cop, and assumes that Colby and David have lost when they turn up with out dates.

NIKKI: Looks like we're going dutch tonight

COLBY: I'm going to have to disagree. I'd like you to meet my date tonight, Agent David Sinclair. Very good resume, very professional, he was just promoted to supervisor in fact.

DAVID: Cabernet please, and he'll have a chardonnay.

COLBY: You are such a gentleman.

DAVID: Thank you very much.

NIKKI: I can't believe this.

COLBY: I'm very hungry, you?

DAVID: Absolutely starving, the surf and turf looks absolutely delicious.

COLBY: But the shellfish will upset your stomach remember

DAVID: That's a good point. We'll have the [word I couldn't catch/recognise]

NIKKI: I'll have a vodka and soda with a twist. [BEAT] Actually, you know what, hold the soda. You know, hold the twist, just bring the bottle.
