I love this game soooo much.
[name redacted] has added you as a contact on Glitch. They probably did this so
they can contact you when they are playing the game.
Or maybe they did it so they can beat you at the game and be victorious. I am a computer and anyway, there is really no way I could tell even if I had achieved self-consciousness.
Either way, it's not creepy at all - it's fun. So ... enjoy!

They may have added you so they could invite you to parties. Or challenge you to races. Or ask you important questions about that thing they've heard you're an expert in.
Or maybe, just maybe they added you so that they could send you diamonds every day in the mail. And two tickets to that thing you love. They probably didn't, of course, but anything is possible. It is Glitch, after all.

I'm on a horse.

[name redacted] has added you as a contact on Glitch.
[name redacted]? I hear you ask: Who is this [name redacted]?!? What do they want from me? Are they real? Is this a trick? What's going on? Is this [name redacted] a robot? Some kind of test? WHY ME?!?
To which I say: woah there, pickle! [name redacted] probably just added you so that they could contact you while playing the game. To send mail, or challenge you for races.
See? It's all cool, and not weird or freaky at all! (Disclaimer: unless it is)
Sign in to the game to say hi, and maybe add [name redacted] as a contact too, if you haven't already: http://beta.glitch.com/profiles/.../
and
[name redacted] has added you as a contact on Glitch. This is probably
because they want to be able to contact you while you're playing the
game.
You may know [name redacted], you may not. Perhaps you've helped them out on a
quest, perhaps they just wandered past and admired the cut of your jib.
How should I know?
However, one thing I do know: It's not weird, just friendly.
Sign in to the game to say hi. Or don't, whatever... no skin off my
nose. Or it wouldn't be if I had a nose, which I don't (being software):

[name redacted] has added you as a contact on Glitch. Probably
so they can contact you in the game.
Why? Who knows. But it might well be the beginning of a beautiful
friendship. Years from now, sitting, watching the suns setting behind
Jethimadh Tower, you might look back on this moment and say "[name redacted]?
Do you remember that time you added me as a contact? And all the crazy
adventures we've had since then?" And [name redacted] will smile, and nod.
"Good times, Ama Gafr" [name redacted] will say. "Good times."
Let the good times roll by signing in to the game to say hi now:
