Crossposter goes live

I've been thinking a bit about how I'm going to run my DW & LJ accounts, now I actually have a DW account, and the crossposter is working, (albeit in alpha form).

One thing I've been wondering about, is the whole commenting thing. The crossposter allows you turn off comments at LJ, and redirect people to DW. (The theory being, that if you've got an account at LJ you can comment at DW with your openid).

Having seen some of the wank going down in the last few days I have to ask - if you read my journal, but are not yet on DW, and have no plans to be, would being directed to DW be a deterent to commenting? (I say this as if I write loads of interesting posts that people are falling over themselves to post on. ;-) )

If it is a deterent, why?

Hey do you mind if I make you co-mod of breastfeeding? I haven't done anything with it yet as I've been too ill over the last week, but I want to get it sorted this week. (I want to make the user info as inclusive as possible geographically speaking. I don't want it too American or UK focused)

You already did! I was going to ask if you wanted me to tinker with filling up the info page anyway. I was thinking of doing the WHO stuff - basically stealing quotes form places etc. :-)

I will also get to asking/sending codes for a couple of lactavists, to fill up lactavist_central, so it's open for business too. But the European Parliament stuff has stolen a lot of time this week...

Yeah, I noticed I'd already done it, shortly after I replied. ;-) Can't remember doing it, but I was pretty ill when I set it all up.

Anything you could do would be brilliant as I'm still feeling pretty brain dead, so it will take me a while to get around to it.
