thedivinegoat Firstly, thank you so much! No matter what you write, the fact that you have written me fic in one of these fandoms? Means that I will love it no matter what.
Secondly this is the first time I've done this, so my apologies if this letter is completely useless to you. As I said above I will love whatever
Generally I'm good with most things and even things that I say that I don't like I have a couple of stories of that ilk that I absolutely love. And I don't think anything I don't like are really an issue in the fandoms I've requested.
I love crossovers, women being awesome (and anything that rebalances the fact that the stories are always about the men), crack, humour, angst, gen, slash, het, femslash, threesomes, polyfic, behind the scenes and common people* fic.
I don't like rape and dub con, (although I'm up for clearly negotiated consent play) and I'm iffy on incest. I don't like unremitting doom although I quite like apocalyptic fic, which is probably not that helpful to you. ;-) And please no character bashing especially of female characters.
Anyway onto my fandoms.
Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor
I'm fairly confident you won't be familiar with this fandom, but do have a look at it because there is so much room to play here.
Spider is an iPhone/iPod/iPad game by Tiger Aspect where no one really knows what the plot is except the developers, and they have stated clearly that they're not going to tell us one way or the other. The best we can do it piece together the clues and make our own stories. All we know is it was terribly sad. The walkthrough here - Gamezebo Walkthrough should give you everything you need to know.
What was the Spider's take on every thing that she saw? Maybe she's seen it all before, or she saw something that we missed. Did BY go with CK on his collecting trips? Did they understand what was happening between their sons? How did L Stewart know the Bryces? Why did she marry R? (Did she marry R?) Did she love N? Who was she apart from another bone of contention between the brothers? Where was she by the time the spider started filling the house with cobwebs? I'm not wedded to any particular interpretation of the clues, so feel free to run wild.
Glitch
Glitch, oh Glitch. Glitch is my happy fun place where I occasionally sell lunch bags to hungry Glitches as way to busy myself. Beyond that I haven't really done any role play in glitch although I'm intrigued by the idea. The Rook also intrigues me. What is it's true motivation to attack and destroy Ur and the Glitchen? (I think the Rook is scary, but I'm always open to sympathy to villains) I want to know more about the culture and home life of the Juju Bandits, have they always lived in the ancestral lands, or did they move in when the Glitchen moved out? How did the Rube come in to being? And what's behind his recent sharpening of trade practices?
I love to see the stories of the battles portrayed in the Rook Museum, why did that fragment get left behind? Who left it?
QI RPF
Feel free to include Stephen and Alan and any other boys, so long as Sandi, Sue and Jo are front and centre. Marmite and Great British Bakeoff references are a bonus. This is a fandom that "An English[wo]man is most dangerous when [s]he is being polite to you" holds very true in. You insult the ones you love. (Yes I know Sandi isn't English, so if you want to explore that aspect have at it)
Uncharted
I admit it, I'm in this fandom for the Nate/Elena snark. I don't mind other characters being brought in so long as the focus is Nate & Elena. I don't mind if you have them split up at the beginning of the fic, but I'd prefer it if they're together at the end. Hurt/Comfort (for either character [in fact if you provide some Elena whump without making her the weak little girl I'd be really happy. But I'd also be really happy with Nate whump too]), Adventure or trying to navigate the mundane world it's all good.
But which ever fandom you write in, and what ever story you write I know I'm going to love it.
